Swimming lessons

Swimming is not only a sport but also a necessary skill which may be useful in many real life situations. In addition swimming has many beneficial effects for the body: water provides relaxation and alleviates fatigue, there is no pressure on the body, it feels light, and the muscles of the whole body work.

Swimming helps you retain your youthful appearance longer, facilitates metabolism, and improves body posture and blood circulation. Furthermore, it is beneficial for curing spinal curvatures, flatfoot, and asthma.

Our qualified instructors will teach you one of the following swimming styles:

  • front crawl (freestyle): swimming on your front and immersing the face into the water. You breathe when you turn your head to the side and raise your arm on the same side out of the water. This swimming style is the fastest of all developed styles;
  • backstroke: swimming while lying on the back and rotating arms and legs. The arms perform the crawl movements, while the legs move uninterruptedly;
  • breaststroke: swimming while making synchronised underwater arm and leg movements. The shoulders must be parallel to the surface of the water, while breaths are taken by raising the head to the front. This swimming style is the slowest.

We welcome everybody to the swimming pool. Children from 8 years of age are admitted. Swimming lessons are held for a maximum of 2 persons at a time.
