Brushwood strapping is an integral part of the sauna culture, which is beneficial for both body and soul. This procedure, which is carried out in an outdoor sauna built from centuries-old timber, improves peripheral blood circulation and lymph distribution, and has a phytotherapeutical and relaxing effect. The body temperature is raised by using various strapping techniques and with consideration for your overall health condition.
Birch and oak brushwood are used to perform the procedure. After the procedure, a refreshing shower, a swim in the pool or a visit to the ice room is recommended. It is also beneficial to spend 10–15 minutes relaxing and to drink something warm following the procedure.
