GRAND SPA LIETUVA RESTAURANTS BECAME THE WINNERS OF THE FRIED BREAD FESTIVAL!

The Fried Bread Festival took place in Druskininkai, where the winners of the most delicious recipes were announced.

On July 17–19, Druskininkai hosted the first large-scale Fried Bread Festival, bringing together the resort’s restaurants, cafés, and gastro bars, which presented original interpretations of the traditional Lithuanian snack. During the three-day event, visitors had the opportunity to taste dishes created by various participants – from classic fried bread recipes to modern gastronomic solutions.

The participants who received the highest ratings from visitors and the judging panel were announced. The festival’s main prize – a €1,000 advertising package on the news portal “Lrytas” – was awarded to our panoramic restaurant “Keturi vėjai”. This recognition was given to the restaurant for the highest overall quality of the dish presented at the festival, its craftsmanship, and exceptional presentation, which earned the most appreciation from visitors.

In addition to the main prize, special nominations were also established at the festival. The winner of the “Meat Masters” category was the “Druskininkai” gastro bar of “Grand SPA Lietuva”, recognized for the best meat ingredient combination concept. The winner of this category received a special prize – a double invitation to “Oktoberfest Druskininkai”.

The festival awards were based on the votes of visitors and judges, reflecting not only professional evaluation but also customer appreciation.

The main prize won by the “Keturi vėjai” restaurant and the victory of the “Druskininkai” gastro bar in the special category became significant acknowledgements of gastronomic excellence, confirming the high level of professionalism, creativity, and ability of “Grand SPA Lietuva” restaurants to preserve Lithuanian culinary traditions while adapting them to the needs of modern guests.
