THE CITY FESTIVAL TOOK OVER DRUSKININKAI THIS WEEKEND!

This weekend, the traditional Resort Festival took place in Druskininkai, inviting residents and visitors to a colorful and lively “Resort Carnival.” The theatrical parade symbolically announced the beginning of the summer season and attracted thousands of spectators from all over Lithuania. Throughout the weekend, Druskininkai pulsed with a festive atmosphere – the city spaces were filled with concerts, artistic performances, sports activities, and wellness initiatives.

One of the brightest highlights of the festival was the traditional parade, which featured more than 40 companies, institutions, and public organizations. The streets of the resort turned into a vibrant stage full of music, creative characters, colorful costumes, and good spirits. As every year, the large, energetic, and creative “Grand SPA Lietuva” team also joined the parade, actively contributing to the festive carnival atmosphere.

This year’s Resort Festival program was especially diverse and aimed at different audiences. On the main stage near the Druskininkai Tourism and Business Information Center, well-known Lithuanian performers and bands gave concerts, while fire and light shows took place in the evenings. Meanwhile, other city spaces hosted activities for families, creative workshops for children, sports tournaments, and active leisure initiatives.
