Sapropel is a jelly-like mass of low mineralization, which, depending on the type of sapropel, contains from 15 to 90 percent. organic matter, from 5 to 60 percent. calcium carbonates, silicon, magnesium, iron, aluminum, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium oxides, various trace elements, manganese, zinc, copper, molybdenum, cobalt, boron, etc. In addition, sapropel contains vitamins, various amino acids and other biologically active substances, so it is not only clean, but also valuable for therapeutic procedures. Sapropel wrapping is performed on a heated bed, the patient’s body is covered with sapropel mud and covered with a warm blanket.
